Safari Introduction

On our eight days safari tour, we visit six national parks giving you a chance to interact with a variety of wildlife, landscapes and culture.

Our first destination is the Tsavo east national park which is known for attractions such as the Mudanda rock and the Yatta plateau (the world's largest lava flow)

Secondly we head to  the saltlick game lodge Taita Sanctuary another destination you'll love for hosting Taita hills WWI museum which is so nice.

Furthermore we head to Tsavo west national park , another impeccable park you'll love for hosting varied wildlife.

Consequently we head  to  Amboseli national park which is a park that gives a peak view of the snow-caped mount Kilimanjaro and also the only park within the country that hosts a bigger number of elephants.

Moreover we head to Lake Nakuru which is known for hosting millions of flamingos and pelicans during peak seasons and also is an habitat for other varied wildlife.

Finally we head to Masai Mara which is one of the greatest game reserves in Africa and is known for the wildebeest migration which occurs from July to October every year with the chief purpose of mating and quest for greener pastures to and from Serengeti national park in Tanzania.

 As a result the safari is by use of  either a 4x4 Toyota jeep with a pop-out roof top or  a safari mini bus all of which depend on the tourist's preference and choice.

Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day 1 : Safari to Tsavo East

Pick up from hotel of stay or airport and driving along Mombasa- Nairobi highway proceeding to Tsavo East.Which is the largest park in Kenya which covers an area of 13,747 km2.  Arrive at Bachuma.  Thus begin the game drive en route to Aruba Dam (A water hole where animals come to drink water).

Moreover proceed with safari game drive to booked Safari Lodge or Camp where you will check in at around 1.00 pm. Hence have lunch and visit the attractions around like Mudanda rock. Which is an inselberg of stratified rock that acts as water catchment that supplies a natural dam below. Yatta plateau is another great attraction (the world's largest lava flow).Furthermore Lugard falls(named after the famous Captain Lugard) another excellent attraction. Consequently we head  back to the Lodge or Camp for dinner and overnight. Tsavo east is situated in semi-arid area previously known as Taru desert near the coastal town of Voi.

Day 2: Tsavo East to Salt Lick Game Lodge Taita sanctuary

Early morning game drive followed by breakfast . Afterwards drive you through Tsavo to Saltlick/Taita Hills lodges sanctuary. Game drive in the sanctuary, dinner and overnight at Taita Hills/Salt Lick Lodges. Saltlick Lodge is a complex of roundavels sitting on stilts over a series of water holes which attracts animals. The two-storey towers are topped by thatch roofs and connected by open-air-bridges, creating an African fantasy fortress. The lodge is privately owned and is located at the heart of Taita-Taveta county. Thereafter bush dinner and overnight at your booked safari Camp or Lodge. Taita sanctuary is also a catalyst to a all in one museum around Taita hills WWI museum. Where which making an effort to visit such a place in an added advantage to this safari.

Day 3 : Salt Lick Game Lodge to Tsavo West

After breakfast drive to Tsavo West with a game drive en-route arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive with a visit to the famous Tsavo river where which the varied wildlife around like the buffaloes, rhinos and lions have as a quenching point also pay visit to the Mzima springs(natural occurring spring consisting of hippos and crocodiles. Bush dinner and overnight at agreed Lodge or Camp

Day 4 : Tsavo West park to Amboseli park

Early morning breakfast check out on a game drive en-route to Mzima springs where you have a chance to see hippos and crocodiles. The spring produces over one million litres of water per day. Drive to Chyulu gate checking out of Tsavo West driving to Amboseli with a convoy.

You will have a stopover at Shetani Lava for photos and proceed to Amboseli, for check-in and lunch. Evening game starts from 3:30 pm to 6.30 pm then back to the camp,dinner and overnight at the booked Camp or Lodge.

Amboseli National Park is the only park around the country providing a vent for the peak view of Mt.Kilimanjaro and also a hill that gives the overall view of the park which is a beautiful site in deed.

It's also to many a cradle home to elephants evident by the number that adds up to the population around. The park also hosts hippos and charming water fowl like the pelican.

Day 5 : Amboseli park to Lake Nakuru

Early morning breakfast check out and have game drive from 6:30am to 8:30 drive to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch and check in. Afternoon game drive across the Pink Lake often referred so due to it’s Great masses of Flamingos not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park.

Dinner and overnight at the booked Camp or Lodge.Lake Nakuru is situated in south rift valley of Kenya, it's a soda lake therefore no crocodiles therein.Millions of flamingos and pelicans are available at the lake during peak-seasons.

Day 6 : Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

Breakfast. After breakfast drive to Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. check in and have lunch.Afternoon game drive of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and a visit to Mara River. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or tented camp. Masai Mara is situated  in south west Kenya and is one of the greatest game reserves in Africa

Day 7 : Masai Mara

Early breakfast then spend the whole day in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest(during peak seasons July-October this game reserve experiences spectacular wildebeest migration to and from Serengeti National park situated in the bordering country,Tanzania, with the chief purpose of mating and quest for greener pastures,) Giraffe, Hippo with a visit to Mara river. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or tented camp.3-4 days are the recommendable days to hung around in such a spectacular game reserve. 

Day 8 : Masai Mara to Nairobi

Early morning game drive form 6:30am to 9:00am, after which you will have you breakfast. Drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch.Lunch at Nairobi Carnivore restaurant afterwards drop off at your respective Nairobi hotel or Airport.
